Theresa holds a Masters Degree from Widener University in Clinical Social Work.

Theresa's use of music, counseling and compassionate ways of healing inner wounds along with her expert knowledge and  life experience makes her a widely sought out grief counselor and speaker.

Theresa is a licensed private practitioner with bereavement expertise. A seasoned musician and published writer on grief and addictions, she does both private professional counseling and lectures. She is a faculty Member of Immaculata University where she teaches courses on "Addictions and Adolescence:. She is also a singer/song writer who brings comfort through song as well as counseling. For over fifteen  years Theresa has been working with grieving individuals, couples and groups.  She is known for her developing and facilitating grief workshops, group therapy sessions, discussions, and round tables. She developed and facilitated psycho-educational classes regarding substance abuse and other various mental health issues, such as Grief and Loss, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anger Management and Domestic Violence. Theresa also had the privilege of counseling and supporting women affected by Domestic Violence while interning at The Domestic Abuse Place in Delaware County. She also had the opportunity to speak with and appear weekly before judges in Delaware County in behalf of many clients affected by Domestic Violence. 

She is very involved in volunteering for veterans through counseling and song as well as volunteer work to help promote local leaders.

Theresa is also currently serving as Vice Chair for the Delaware County Women's Commission where she works closely with local leaders on issues for women and girls.

Theresa contributed a written case study that has been published in a recent book entitled Grief and Loss Across the Lifespan: A Biopsychosocial Perspective.  by  Carolyn A. Walter PhD,LCSW and Judith L. M. McCoyd PhD, LCSW, QCSW (Hardcover - Mar  2009)

Theresa is also certified in religious counseling  through the Christian Counseling Educational Foundation in Glenside, PA.   Theresa also successfully completed a satellite course in Financial  Management from Financial Peace University.
