Theresa M Agostinelli, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Theresa is a qualified, experienced licensed private practitioner and adjunct professor at Immaculata University where she teaches Sociology courses. She is considered an expert in her field. For over fifteen years Theresa has been working with individuals, couples and groups. She is known for her developing and facilitating workshops, group therapy sessions, discussions, and round tables. She developed and facilitated psycho-educational classes regarding substance abuse and other various mental health issues, such as Grief and Loss and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Theresa's use of music, counseling and compassionate ways of healing inner wounds along with her expert knowledge and life experience makes her a widely sought out counselor and speaker.
Theresa had the pleasure of facilitating a workshop at the 2010 National Conference for Parents of Murdered Children at the Philadelphia Marriott.
Theresa is also currently serving as Vice Chair for the Delaware County Women's Commission where she works closely with local leaders on issues for women and girls.
Theresa also contributed to a nationwide book and series on Single Parenting Issues as well as a written case study that has been published in a recent book entitled Grief and Loss Across the Lifespan: A Biopsychosocial Perspective.
Theresa offers religious counseling and is certified through the Christian Counseling Educational Foundation in Glenside, PA as well as a PA Certified Chaplain with the Law Enforcement of Delaware County.
